Arriving at my first ever SubiNats event and I knew something was a little different. There were a LOT more cars, stalls being set up, stanced out cars in the paddock... It felt like a car festival!
This is the first track day with the Shockworks coilovers installed. Mentally I expected there to be a PB based on that fact alone, but I was sadly disappointed when that didn't happen. That just goes to show you can't just throw money at the car and expect to be fast, at least I couldn't!
Previous PB: 2:01.36
Today's best: 2:01.48
All stickered for the event
The best lap of the day with a stupid mistake
It hit 204km/h!
Much higher speed going into Turn 1 and getting a better run out of the final corner
Chasing that PB...
Looking happy from this distance
A heap of stickers that need to go on the car before we can hit the track
A fun and different exercise. Getting the banners on properly required 2 people, it was like a ice-breaker activity.
Playing dress up for the car was fun and I like the look. My inner ricer is showing.
All the cars stickered up and queuing for scrutineering
Almost at the scrutineering shed
Speaking of festivals. Remember when everyone chucked all there stuff in a pile at raves? Same thing happens in the paddock.
Friendly clown made me a ballon doggo to take home to the kid. Now the trick is getting this back without it popping!
This reminds me of conferences. It's all about the swag!
